The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) has unveiled a cutting-edge trading system, signaling a transformative leap in Vietnam’s capital market infrastructure. The upgrade includes a Central Securities Depository (CSD) solution provided by CMA Small Systems AB, designed to handle the surging demand from Vietnam’s 9.6 million investor accounts.

The platform emphasizes high-volume, real-time operations and seamless integration with a trading engine developed in collaboration with the Korea Exchange (KRX). This modernization reflects Vietnam’s ambition to compete with global financial hubs, though the announcement made no direct reference to cryptocurrency adoption or blockchain integration.
